		<description>BTW...I was hoping run the Cowtown Marathon, but because of an injury I've been dealing with, I wouldn't be running it.  I may opt for the 10K or 5K, but I'll make that decision 2-3 weeks before.</description>

		<description>To help me lose weight, I would track EVERYTHING that I ate.  I would then add up all the calories and at the end of the day, ensure I had a deficit of about 1,000 calories.  That is, after I factor in the calories your body burns normally plus any running that I did.

A deficit of 1,000 per day is 7.000 calories for the week....enough to lose 2 pounds per week.</description>
