Distance: 4 miles
I did my first “long” run this past Sunday. It was 4 miles. My goal is to make this run longer and longer and by the end of the year, I should be doing 10 miles as my long run.
For the first tiem, I felt really tired int eh afternoon after the run and I even took a brief nap yesterday…a full day after the run. I think that I’m not eating a properly balance meal and I may need to get more carbohydrates, especially right afterf the run. I have to do some research into this.
